Orit

Orit means light, in Hebrew.

There is something magical about jewellery that makes it capable of enthralling us far beyond its material value. The project was born from a passage by Eckhart Tolle, who sees in crystals and precious stones a kind of illumination of the mineral world: dense matter that, through transformation, becomes transparent to light.
The store was conceived as a fractal, where a geometrically cut space, governed by light, is not only the result but also the origin. The angles and diagonals of the triangular plan repeat in a tall, prismatic space that culminates in a skylight.
Glass display volumes of different sizes, with metal edges clad in natural wood veneer, seem to float freely into the mall's corridor, showing the pieces both inside and outside the store and inviting people to come closer. Private rooms receive appraisals and purchases, while the triangular hall holds display and sales.
Every technical need is met, but that would not be enough. What the project seeks is enchantment and silence, the fraction of a second in which something is still capable of surprising us.
